| Choice of Equipment
Pilots flying under this agreement
are required to use the equipment of the VA hosting the
chosen route, provided the equipment used is the same or
lower category then the heaviest aircraft the pilot is allowed
to fly at his/her mother VA. In the case of code-share routes,
such as between Athens and Dublin, or Athens and Manchester,
the pilot may fly either the EMD aircraft, or the SFV aircraft,
that is specified for this route. Since SFV currently has
no aircraft that correspond to the EMD Light Jet category,
EMD LJ pilots will only be allowed to log flights on SFV
routes using that company's turboprop equipment.
» Turboprops: DHC6, DHC8, Saab340, ATR72
» Light
Jets: CRJ200, RJ85/Bae146
» Medium Jets: B737
Classic, B737 NG
» Heavy Jets: B757,
B777, B747, MD11
e.g.: an SFV
pilot can fly any EMD aircraft as
they have no rank restrictions.
e.g.: an EMD Light Jet Captain can fly an SFV Saab340 or ATR72 but cannot
fly an SFV B737.
